“Wood Whisperer” Creates Big Shoe For Entertainment Explosion

As performers put polishing touches on production numbers for the show to benefit homeless and needy children, members of Entertainment Explosion have found Davey Gagne. A local professional competitive chainsaw artist, Davey has created a “Big Shoe” from a large piece of Red Cedar. It will be used to receive donations for children at EE’s annual concerts. Come to the February Concert and see the finished “shoe” in the main floor lobby.

Wood “speaks” to Davey, who adds countless special touches to his finished carvings. He set aside other projects to make sure the "Big Shoe" would be finished in time for the concert because . . . “it’s for kids who don't have much.” Now there is a heart with an opening for children, big enough to drive the Budweiser Team of Clydesdales through!
